Welcome to Nap Time Thoughts
It started during one of those rare, quiet moments.
The toys were (mostly) picked up, the toddler was asleep, and for the first time all day, I could hear myself think. Not in a deep, poetic way — more like, “What just happened today and why am I still wearing one sock?”
That’s when I realized: nap time isn’t just a break — it’s a reset. A breath. A little pocket of time where I get to be something other than just “Mom.” I get to reflect. Ramble. And write.
That’s exactly why I started this blog.
What You’ll Find Here
Nap Time Thoughts isn’t a parenting advice blog (I’m still winging it 90% of the time). It’s a space for honest reflections on life as a stay-at-home mom — the good, the overwhelming, the hilarious, and the “did I seriously just cry in the Target parking lot?” moments.
You’ll find:
Thoughts from the thick of motherhood
Product recs and routines that help (or at least don’t hurt)
Travel stories, family moments, and small joys
Real talk about identity, growth, and staying grounded
Why “Nap Time Thoughts”?
Because that’s when it all surfaces — the emotions, the ideas, the to-do lists I forgot to do. It’s my creative window, my exhale, and sometimes my only chance to write down what’s been swirling around in my brain all day.
This blog isn’t perfect. It’s not filtered to death. But it’s real. And I hope it feels like a conversation with a friend who gets it.
Whether you’re a fellow stay-at-home parent, someone in a different kind of life season, or just a curious reader passing through — I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s figure it out together, one nap at a time.
